A hat full of tradition – the perfect gift for a newly hatched student!
The Danish graduation cap tradition dates back to 1845 when it was first adopted by the students in Copenhagen. In those days, it was an important symbol, signifying graduate status.
Today, caps are worn by students who have completed an upper secondary level education. The colour of the ribbon indicates which education the student has graduated from.
Our caps are made of solid beech wood and have been carefully hand painted.
