Backing: Durable vinyl backing which means no slipping and no rug pad needed. It also prevents water from seeping through to the surface underneath.
Our shag mats are tufted for a textured “looped” look then bonded to a durable vinyl backing.

Please note that stripes run parallel to the long side on doormats and big mats, and parallel to the short side on the utility mats and runners.
