The Vent series is named after the Danish word for wait—a nod to its origins as seating conceived for leisurely viewing artworks at museums. Handmade in collaboration with a local workshop for the blind and sight impaired, the designs marry form with function. Designed by the Danish/Swedish furniture designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm
Set on a slender, painted steel frame, the seat of the minimalist, two-seater Vent Bench is woven by hand from paper cord. Comfortable to sit on and beautiful to look at, it elevates surroundings whether in a public setting or home space.

Able to withstand wind and weather, the upholstery fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified and extremely colour and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. The cushion dries exceptionally quickly, even after a heavy downpour, as the foam has an open-cell structure that allows both water and air to pass through. The foam provides a firm and comfortable texture that remains the same year after year.
