This small glass plate is made in the shape of the Unikko flower. We recommend washing the plate by hand.

This product is made of clear glass.

The product is packed in the Marimekko Logo pattern box.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.

Skýjadiskurinn með mynstrinu Flæði er mótaður úr hágæða postulíni og er mynstur disksins handmálað með hinum mest einkennandi og klassíska bláa lit Ingu Elínar.
Yfirborð disksins er glerjað, fyrir slétta, jafna og glansandi áferð.

Diskarnir eru 24 x 17 cm að stærð, fullkomnir fyrir bakkelsið með kaffinu, forrétti, eftirrétti og smærri rétti.

Part of a design collaboration between HAY and artist Laila Gohar that celebrates the joy of meeting family and friends over a good meal, the Sobremesa Plate is a decorative plate designed to enhance mealtime atmospheres. Hand-painted in stoneware with a beautiful contrast stripe detail, the plates are available in different sizes and stripes, and can be used alone or with other tableware from the same series.

Made of white stoneware, this small rectangular plate features the Unikko pattern in red. It’s dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe; glazed colors and pattern remain vibrant.

Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.

Please remove the sticker from the bottom of the product before taking it into use. The sticker contains a small amount of metal.
